Every Owner automatically becomes a member of the MPOA and the members elect the Board of Trustees who are accountable for the affairs of the Village. The MPOA employs an Estate Manager, Security Manager and an Administrative Assistant to discharge the responsibilities of the day-to-day operations of the Village.
The levy collection and administrative responsibilities of the MPOA is undertaken by a company called GEMS, a specialist estate management company based in Johannesburg.
The Village is currently under the ‘development period’, the period during which the Developer constructs houses and other amenities. Only once the developer has called an end to the development period within each precinct, does the responsibility for managing that precinct pass from the developer to the HOA.
Eventually, the Developer will complete all construction within the Village and the total accountability and responsibility will pass to the MPOA.
